Same hat ... new medium

This is my hat for "Inspire Me Thursday". It is charcoal on bristol.
Below WAS my hat for "Inspire me Thursday" in colored pencil on a purplish paper...it was to be my entry before it became embellished with a streak of slobber and several purple scribbles....I left an unsecured purple pencil lying around, and the drawing in reach of tiny chubby hands...serves me right! The damage barely shows up in the photo but, I know it is there!
I think I like the charcoal one better anyway!

Nice hats, they remind me of a hat my grandmother wore often.

All my kids are grown, but I have a cat that cannot be trusted!

Ah...chubby little hands!! Got to love them!! I love both of these pieces...the first one with the pencils has the feeling of being made out of glass for me...the second one..a very old school feel...both are terrific....

Beautiful work.

My work's been edited by cats before. Nothing charms a piece up like paw prints. :)

Both versions are great, but I'm partial to the first one. I love shading.

That is really funny. Perhaps this could lead to a new technique.

Aww, it was a collaboration, you just didn't realize it at the time.

I'm still thinking about lino blocks... you know, the top image would make an awesome lino print...
